Whether the farm operator ! Uvea on the farm which he operates has no effect on his social senirity coverage, according to R. E. Parsons, Assistant Manager of i the Alexandria,Social Security Of* fice,
Mr. Parsons stated, that if the farm .operator contracts for the use of the land at least for the duration of the crop-year or longer, his net income from such operation may be credited to his social security account, if the amount is $400 or more. This is true whether he has die use of all or part of one farm or different farms. Where he may choose to reside during die time he is operating the farm or farms is not material, so long as he has the use of each piece of land and his net income is as much as $400 from wit or all of his operatiorts.
Mr. Parsons, who is die social security representative for this area, will visit Washington the 4th Wednesday of each month at 1 p.m. at the Court House.
