SCHOOL news
Irene Jenkins, Shirley Williams, Estelle Jenkins, Helen Jenkins, Virgie Atkins, Becky Jenkins and Dottie Weaver visited furniture stores in Front Royal on February 8th. The class has been studying periods and construction of furniture. They saw examples of various styles in the stores. Miss -Dillon, Home Economics instructor, accompanied them.
Another group of Home Ec. students will visit a butcher shop in the near future to see how wholesale cuts of meats are prepared for retailing. The girls have also been studying tjris subject.
