Flint HI Auxiliary -
The Flint Hill Fire Auxiliary met in the Fire Hall Monday evening.The treasurer, Mrs. John S. Browning collected dues and gave her report. Mrs. W. A. Moore brought the report of the nominating committee, which was accepted. New officers are: Mrs. G. W. Smith, president, Mrs. James M. Settle, vice-president, Mrs. O. W. Gilbert Jr., treasurer, Mrs. Roberta Massie, secretary, Mrs. W. A. Gentry and Mrs. Carson Lillard as chaplains. Mrs. E. C. Russell, Mrs. W. A- Moore and Mrs. M. R. "Bradford Jr. were elected to serve on the social committee, Mrs. R. L. Rector and Mrs, F. H. Cary and Mrs. Joel Jenlrins were elected to the decorating committee.
It was pointed out that, there would be a display of kitchen equipment in Washington, D. C> April 6, 7, and 8th and tha* some members of the auxiliary should ( attend this display and purchase some needed items for the kitchen of the fire hall. Mrs. Wade Pullen asked for same supplies And equipment for care of the building and these articles were promised.

Opens For Season
Lake Manahoac, Washington’s tourist camp is getting its annual refurbishing and Mr. and Mrs. George H. Davis, owners, are planning to open one day next week, just as soon as the painters and paper-hangers finish their, work.
The Lake , which affords boating for those who like to use oars and canoe paddles is also said to he full of fish and ready for the angler as soon as die fishing season opens. ' . .';V/]
