Miss Alma continues ill in Warren Memorial Hospital after surgery Thursday. Her condition is considered fcood. Mr., and Mrs. Carson Johnson were recent guests of Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Proctor.
Mrs. Frank Cary and Mrs. W. A. Gentry attended a Christmas candle light service given by the choir of the Baptist Church in Front Royal* Sunday evening.

Mrs. Sam North suffered a painful injury last week when she lost the end of the index finger of her right hand in a sausage grinder. On the day following, Sam gashed his left hand badly with an axe, requiring eleven stitches. Both are recovering r.icely now.
Mr. and Mrs. Merritt Greeley were in Alexandria and Washington for several days last week on business.
Mrs. Ermand Morris is recovering from a virus infection.
