On Julv 28. 29, and 30, in conin net ion with the statewide commoration of the meeting of the first House of Burgesses in 1619. there will be a display at the court ’■ousc of interesting documents pertaining to the county. These will include old bills of sale, original land grants, deeds, etc.
The uniciue map display includes conies of some of the most imnorrant colonial maps, starting with that of Captaii* John Smith’s printed in 1612.
This is a rare educational opportunity for the children and adults of the county.
There is no charge for this exhibit.

The Priest store building in Sperrvville will be the scene for this hi-rp-er and better market of handmade and homemade items. There will'be toys, aprons, hand-painted stationery, copper bowls, rugs, emits. Jellies, pickles, cakes and other foods. Many fine handmade gifts will be on sale, as well as crafts.
