The two pretty misses who won the title of Miss Pre-Teenage Rappahannock were first place, Miss Eleanor Rector, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Rector and ■second place, Miss Virginia Yates Bradford,- daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. R. Bradford, Jr., in the Rappahannock County Beauty Contest held in the Washington auditorium Friday evening. June 28.
The Senior M. Y. F. group l?ft Monday for a week of fun and fellowship at the new Charlottesville District Camp. Those attending are: Misses Eleanor Atkins, Frances Foster. Doris Atkins. Jean Lillard and Paula Miller. Miss Miller will work with the recreation for the week and Rev. A. D. Goodson will be there as a teacher and councelor.
The Flint Hill Firemen will hold their Firemen’s Carnival on July 25, 26 and 27.
Sirs. Pearl Mills is still a patient in Warren Memorial Hospi• tal and is improving slowly.
Mr. Paul Miller spent some time with his family here last week.
