He had been in the mercantile bu .mess in Washington, Virginia, for thirty years. He was a member ui T r i n i t,y Episcopal church. Washington, and a member of the \estry there for a member of years. I Mr. Lea attended VPliand was] a member of Lowcsvilc Masonic Lodge 293, a 32 degree Mason of AASR and Acca Temple, Richmond. He was also a member of the Selective Service Board of •vappahannock County. He is survived by his wife, Marv Hudson I a-a of Washington; one daughter, Mrs. John G. Cargill. Jr., Fairfax; a son, T. Carlyle 1-ea, Jr., Washington; two sisters. Mrs. Kermit R. Kami of Okinawa, and Mrs. Alton Seaman or Roseland; a brother, Luther D. Lea, Massies Mill and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon, August 17, at two o'clock in Trinity Episcopal Church, Washington, Virginia, by the Rev. John R. Frizzell. Burial was in the Masonic^ Cemetery, Washington.
Pallbearers were Claude Tanner, Col. Charles King, Wade H. Massie, C. J. Miller, James VV. Fletcher. Dr. John Snead, Ned Settle, Kennedy Walter, W. A. Miller, Downing Wood, and D. D. Miller.
