J. T. Hudson. Jr., son of Mr, aim Airs, jonn Hudson, formerly or' operryviile, will enter American university, Washington, D.C. this fall, from the bulletin of the Mount Vernon Methrodist Church, August. 11, 1957:
"We welcome to our pulpit this morning Mr. John Hudson, Jr. Johnny has been a member of our congregation since January 1954. lie has worked with the Sunday School and the A1YF and is now preparing tor the Christian ministry. Johnny will begin his study at American University this fall. As of September 1, he will be Associate Pastor of our church. Our best wishes go with him as he' begins to build the foundation of his life’s work.”

The Sperryvile Methodist Sunday School Picnic will be held on Sunday, August 25th at Schulers. The group will leave from the church at 11:00 a.m. v It is hoped that all members of the church school will .be able to attend and share the fun.
