Special Deer Season
At H6'g Island
Chester F. Phelps, chiet ot the game division of the Commission ot Game and Inland Fisheries, announced the dates of the special deer hunting season for bow hunters only at the Hog Island Waterfowl Refuge. They are during the weeks of September 23-28 and September 30-October 5 all date- inclusive, from one halfhour before sunrise to one half-hour after sunset.
Hunting will be by special permit only, application for which is obtainable from the Richmond office of the Commission. Applications will be received until September 5, 1957. Approximately 75 hunters will be allowed on the
