Mr. and Mrs. B. R. Cox have purchased from Mr. and Mrs. John S. Davis the residence, for many years, of the late Dr. E. W. Brown. Mr. and Mrs. Davis purchased the property last October from the estate of the late Mrs. Elizabeth E. Brown.They will move to Arlington, Yra. in the near future where Mr. Davis has accepted a position.
Joseph B. Reid, who has been spending several days with his parents, returned to New York Wednesday evening.
Birth Announced
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Smith of Catlett are receiving congratulations on the birth of their eighth child, a son on August 18th at the Remington Clinic. Mother and son are doing fine. Mrs. Smith is the former Miss Katherine Jenkins of Washington, Va.
