Rappahannock’s Panthers got off to a good start. Tuesday night as they faced the Loudoun County Raiders, with Glen Updike scor-, ing the first points in the game. The Panthers wtre again outsized but,played their usual fighting game. Rappahannock took the, tead in jthtf first quarter and main-' , tanedjt throughout. At the end of the first quarter the scoreboard read Rappahannock 17; Loudoun 6. The Raiders closed the gap in the score 3 pants in th^ secoind quarter .and" at the half they were ' 26 for the Panthers and 19 for the Raiders.* - The third quarter Ufent about the same pace but during the early part of the fourth, Loudoun threatened whrfi they lagged only a few .points behind.
