The Pantherettes lost their sec* ond league game of the season to the Gar-Field girl*. / • The main trouble of the game was 6ft, 2in. L. Balton, who scored 31 of Gar-Field’s 10 points. The Pantherette guards < fought hard but couldn't do too much against the height.
Even though Peggy Burke made an outstanding scoring perfor-' mance of 22 points( the Rappahannock team coudn’j rack, up enough to win. Turner scored 13 points for the Pantherettes. ,
The Pantherettes now have two losses and one win in district play. They will still fight hard to win the game against Nokesville; Friday night which is a league game to be played at home.
