William Pendleton Slaughter, 85, prominent Rappahannock County resident, died in her home. “Meadowbrook jHall,” in Huntlv, Monday. January 13 at ten o’clock following a Ipng illness.
Mrs. Slaughter, a native of Huntington, w. Va., is survived by one nephew', Perry Duncan, of Greenwich, Conn. • 1 Funeral services-were held Tuesdav afternoon at 4 o’clock in the hall room of her home, with the Rev, F. G. Weber, rector of Calvary Episcopal Church in Front Roval, officiating.
Interment was in Huntington, W. Va.. Wednesday, Jan-. 15..
