Briefly it will explain; information 'available ' from the soil maps, soil slopes, erosion classes, soil phase,, use and management, (which will include productivity rating for the various crops grown in the area including suitability for tree fruits^ and a brief description of each of the, soils (approximately 140) found in the county. It is hoped the publication will be completed in March. A detailed scientific report will become available later.
