Riders may be professionals; hdrses are eligible regardless of how recent, long or successful 'are their racing pasts. Jp a word, the race- _ is wide-open and attracts first-class timber horses from this section of the Southeast.
The Ladies’ race, the Mount Salem, draws some of the most spirited women riders, on topnotch timber horses, fls those who have witnessed the race in the past will testify.
The final event is a unique Hound Race. ! No mere hunt club pack out on display. There will be entries from three Virginia counties. the .best hounds out of the farmer-owned flacks, the moonlight packs, the truck-hunting^ nacks antL'the 'hunt club packs. This will be a drag every houndman will be keen to see.
