Cumberland S. Bennett, who was taken seriously til at his residence near Sperryville, on Sunday, 'February 2, was rushed'‘to the University of Virginia Hospital bv ambulance and was found to be in critical condition and Was placed on the critical list. ? During the past few davs Mr. Bennett’s condition .has slight improvement and welcomes his friends to visit him whenever it is possible for them to do so.
His sons have been staying in Charlottesville and have been alternating • each day in order that . some member of the family may be at the bedside at all times while his condition w»s so very critical.
