February 5, 1958 Dear Editor: . , I Shave been wanting to write Vou yver since I started getting the Rappahannock News paper. But mostly I say T 1 do it next week only;I never do. But cn January 23, 1958 in that paper there was a piece that caught my eye. On page five, the heading, “Winter Increases Destruction By Rats and Mice.” So I read the whole thina After reading it, I found out •it’s the very same poison I help to pack every day at work. Too, was very proud to find it in my home town paper, if the farmers ahd people alike! will only use D-Con, there’ll be ajot less rats and mice. Not be1 cause 1 work for D-Con, but because I used it before and it’ll do away with them. " Back to your paper, I mostly get it either on .Saturday or'Monday. Butany way I always read it from page to page- It’s nice to have one from the town a person’s from. Being away up here I have something to brag about too. Of course Little Washington has changed since I was there last.
