- The first of five state-graded feeder cattle sales were held at Roanoke last week.
Choice and fancy steers brought $28.25 to $33.75, mostly $29.25 to"$31; good grade steers, $26.25 to $3525, mostly $28-$28.50. Medium steers, $24.50 to $30.50; •mostly $26 to $29.25; common!' steers, $23.25 to $27.25, mostly $25,50. Heifers sold at: choice, fancy and good, $22.75-$25.75, mostly $25.75; medium heifers, $21.50-$2525; and common heifers, $20-$21.25, mostly $20.75.
Sales set for this week are: Lvnchburg, Thursday, l p. m.; Winchester, Friday, 1 pjn.
