An automobile accident occurred Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. in , ... front of Bradley Atkins’ Service Station.. A 1956 Oldsroobile own- ~ ed by James Nichoson of Flint * Hill, operated by his son, Russell Lee Nicholson, was traveling from . Sperryville toward Washington, was overtaking a 1958 Ford owned,by Campbell Hitt of Woodville, who was slowing down to make a >y ’ ^ left, turn into Atkins’ Service Staition. j Nicholson being unable to stop/pulled to die left lane to pass & Campbell Hitt, when he struck a j 1955 Ford Owned and operated 6y Irving Sisk of Washington, who was headed toward Sperryville. Aft<" striking the Sisk car, the Nic! Ison car -turned, over and Continued across rout^ 12, the sect darv road, and struck Brad- , ley Atkins’ Service Station.^ The estimated damage of Atkins’ Setvice Station was $250 to $300. The Nicholson car and the Sisk far were both a total loss. Five persons —ere injured and admitted ■" to the Warren Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Irving Sisk received cuts and bruises on her face, knees and arms and possibly some inter* nal injuries.
