The Spenyville Elementary School auditorium will be J the scene of a presentation of the Culpeper Lions Club 1958 Minstrel Show on next Tuesday, April 29 at 8:00 o’clock. j *
This fun filled, laughter-packed show is being sponsored by | the newly paganized Rappahannock Lions Club. Proceeds from ] the show will be used by the Rappahannock Club for its community projects. Admission prices are 75c for adults and 35c for- children under 12 years of age.

“Great Balls Of Fire!” That’s just what it was Monday afternoon when lightning struck the hqfuse of Mr. and Mrs, W. JE. Duncan at Amissville during an electrical storm, breaking a window pane and setting'fire to tjhe curtain, burning out electric wires and the television. ]
Mr. and Mrs. Duncan werejin an adjoining room when thjey heard the bolt. Mr. Duncan ran into die room and was cut on the hand by a piece of flying glass and the charge spun him around. } ^Fortunately the curtain partially burned went out thereby avertmg further disaster. Soffit*
