Amissville Auxiliary
Completes Plans
Eighteen members of the Amissville Ladies Auxiliary were present , Tuesday evening at the regular August meeting at which time final plans were made and problems ironed out for the forth coming carnival to be held August 19 thru 22 at the new permanent carnival grounds fh Amissville on Route 211.
A box supper will be served Thursday evening and anyone who wishes to contribute food for the boxes may contact Mrs. Charlie Compton. Mrs. Ralph Rowzie and Mrs. A. C. Latham will be. in charge of the homemade cake and pie stand and will accept your donations of baked goods.
Standings of the girls who are participating in the contest for queen of the carnival are as follows: Bonnie Payne 100; Ethel Holmes 675; Agnes James 313; Joan Berry 125 Anna Katherine Sites 75; Sally Latham 375; Beverly Latham 200; Baihara Smith 225; Joan Dodson 50.
