A well has Been armea ana a permanent food stand erected, with convenient facilities enabling the ladies to give better, more efficient service at the food booth. Electric poles with clustered “lights have have been set and two test rooms have also been built.
A parade, consisting of about 60 units will begin at 6:30 this evening (Thursday). A chickenham plate supper will be available at the food stand for $1.00.
Crowning of the carnival queen will highlight die activities Friday night. Rides for all ages, games and good food will be featured each evening. The fouf-day event will dose Saturday night, August 22.

Reunion '
A reunion of the Burton family was held Saturday, August 15th at the home of Miss Lottie Burton in honor of her house guests Mr. and Mrs. Donald T. Burton and children Cynthia and Donnie of Miami, Fla., Mrs. George L. Burton of Drexel Hill, Pa., and Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Grubbs of Front Royal.
Other guests were Mrs. L. M. Orndoff, Clearbrook, Va.; Mrs. Catherine Bly and son Dickie of Middletown, Va.; Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Burton, Arthur Burton and. son Jerry, Miss Penny Heinkaugh, Mr. and Mrs. George Haymaker and grandson, Kevin Windle of Front Royal; Mr. and Mrs. Carroll Grubbs and children Susan* and Johnnie and Miss Paula Weaver, Mrs. Rosa Burton, Mrs. L.
