The marriage of Miss Elisabeth Hertzog Johnson,'daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Edward Johnson, Jr., of Sperryville, to Mr. Harold Wayne Jones, son of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Wayne Jones of Aroda, took place at five o’clock Saturday afternoon, August 15, in the Reynolds Memorial, Baptisr 'Church in Sperryville.
The Reverend Harold (Edward Nicholson, Jr„ pastor, performed the double-ring ceremony in a setting of candles, palms and mixed white flowers. Mrs. John G. Cargill, Jr., of Fairfax, played selections of nuptial music. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a long-sleeved white satin gown. Her chapel train extended from a pleated satin panel caught at the rounded neckline and held just above the^waist by a nerrow bow. Her fingertip veil of illusion fell from a headpiece of heirloom lace and pearls. She carried a bouquet of gardinias and stephanotis.
Miss Frances Fletcher Smith of Madison was maid of honor. Other attendants were Miss Janet Carol Neill of Richmond, Miss I m o g e n e Gay Crutchfield of Waynesboro, Miss Rebecca Gates Jones of- Washington, Va., and Miss Ruth Graham Sha>v of Wellesley Hills, Massachusetts.
