Miss Carol Anne Jones, sister of the bridegroom, was juiior bridesmaid. 'Her dress, also of blue silk, had a full skirt and a curnmberfound with a bow in the back. Her headband and bouquet' matched those pf the other attendants.
Mr. Hiram Oliver Lyne, 'III, of Wilmington, Del., was bast man. Groomsmen were Mr. Charles Edward 'Johnson, III, brother of the bride, Mr. Thurmond CarLyle Lea, Jr. of Richmond, Mr. John Marvin Stevens of Roanoke and Mr. Hubert Hope Claric of Uno.
Following the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents.
The bride chose as her traveling costume a crown blue dress and jacket with blending accessories.
The bride is a graduate of Fairfax Hall and attended Duke University. She is a member of Kappa Delta Sorority. She will enter Vriginia Polytechnic Institute this fall.
The bridegroom attended Woodberry Forest School and now attends Virginia Polytechnic Institute.
The couple will mafce thrfr home in Blacksburg.
