Huntly House Burns
Flint Hill and Front Royal firemen were called at 12:40 a.m. to the house of J, J. Dwyer near Huntly, Va., Monday morning, but were too late to save any part of the two-story log and frame buliding. Damage was estimated aet approximately $12,000.

Bureau Program
T. T. Curtis,| President of Virginia Farm Bureau, is urging all County Farm Bureau Presidents, (Gen. Daniel Noce is President of the Rappahannock County organization), to give particular emphasis NOW to the POLICY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM of the Farm Bureau. Mr. Curtis asks all County Leaders to “make sure that' all members have the OPPORTUNITY to participate.” In this very important Farm Bureau activity, is the opportunity to demonstrate! our FAITH IN DEMOCRACY and accept our individual responsibility as we suggest ideas, search for facts, debate issues, and resolve all working policies for our organization,” he said. . -The policy development program is probably the most important one that Farm Bureau conducts. It is tied to the democratic processes, and Gen. Noce is making every effort to have all F.B. members participate. He is anxious that all Rappahannock farmers be thinking farmers and communicate their views to their representative in the legislatures.
