William Rutherford
William Jackson Rutherford, age 86 years, of Castleton, Va. died at the Butler Nursing 'Homo ••’t Culueper on Saturday, August 22nd, following a long period of declining health.
Funeral services were held od Monday afternoon, with graveside services in the Sperryville Cemetery, conducted by Rev. I.. H. Daily of the Primitive Baptist Church.
He is survived by five daughters and four sons. The daughters are Mrs. Samuel Frye, Mrs. Bessie Pullen, Mrs. Alton Atkins, Mrs. Carroll Frye and Mrs. Richard Pullen all of Sperryville. The sons are Harry Rutherford of Warrenton, Charlie of Sperryville, Haywood and Archie of Castleton, Va.
Also surviving are three sisters Mrs. Carrie Smoot, Mrs. Orrie Thame and Mrs. Dari Wince all of Flint Hill, Va.
