Pink eye continues to be serious in cattle—could interfere rw it h feeder calf sales. Re sanitary, control flies,—Methoxychlor crystals are reported to be excellent. Dr. Cooper recommended: mixed bovine bacterin #1 at lOce. per cow or bull, 5cc per 700 lb. heifer or steer, 3cc per calf as treatment for infected animals. Repeat in three days if necessary. Some schools think. insects help to spread the disease. Also Virginia now has - a new fly to pester livestock—the face fly—looks like ordinary house fly.
