Elects New Officers
The SCA members of Spcrryville School elected the following officers for 1961-62: President Bonnie North; vice-president Ann Cannon; secretary Barbara Lillard.
The pupils of the |two sixth grades put on a very effective program for Fire Prevention Week. Along with this program they had a Fire Prevention Poster Contest. Winners of the contest were 7th grade - 1st and 2nd Ann Cannon; 3rd Barbara Dodson; 4th Wayne Payne. 6th grade - 1st Dickie Deal; 2nd Bertha Mahoney; 3rd Beverly Beahm; 4th John Norman. 5th grade - 1st Lyn Dunivent; 2nd Stevie Aylor; 3rd Virginia Rose; 4th Roy Reeve. 4th grade - 1st James Gaunt; 2nd Sue Pullen; 3rd Steven either; 4th Geraldine Baldwin.
