Mission Study Class
Held By Baptist
At a mission study class held last Tuesday at Washington Baptist Church articles made in foreign lands were displayed as well as flags of other nations. To carry out the theme refreshments were served in Austrian and English china. A placard summing up the lesson in one word was embroidered with “Togetherness.”
Mrs. Clarence Dorsey and Mr. and Mrs. Olney Kennedy spent the day Friday in Charlottesville.
Miss Virginia Jenkins accompanied Rev. and Mrs. Calvin Fender and Lona Fender of Pelham Manor to Timberville Saturday eveniing where Rev. Fender was guest speaker at a church thery.
