The 1962 Plymouth given away Saturday night was awarded Mrs. Frances Whorton of Woodville. Other prize winners were M. E. White, Lester Wayland, Mrs. Bessie Brady.
The Flint Hill Fire Company expresses sincere thanks and appreciation to everyone who helped to make this event a success.
Lawn Party
The Ladies Auxiliary to the Chester Gap Fire Company will hold a lawn party on the carnival grounds Saturday evening, August 11 starting at 5:30. The menu will consist of ham, fried chicken, Cakes, pies, hot and cold drinks and many other delicious foods. All proceeds are for the benefit of the fire company.
