once in defeat. The J.V. defeated the Elkton Elks in a hard fought well deserved win by a score of 25-22. A star performance by Janice Aylor on the defensive and offensive court was a big factor for the victory. Top scorers were Janice Aylor and Jackie Myers with 15 and 6 points respectively. The Varsity fell to defeat by the Varsity Elks with the score 62 to 37.
The Varsity came back in the next game and crushed the Montevideo Maroons with a score of 61 to 46. High scorers for RCHS were Jamell Erudhum sinking 25 points, Eleanor Phillips throwing in 11, and Peanut Mahoney giving 10 points to the cause. The Maroons took the J.V. game with a score of 41 to 26.
The J. V. and Varsity put on a spectacular show for Parents Night Tuesday evening. The J. V. squad came out and trounced William Monroe by a 43-7 margin. Contributing to the victory were Janice Aylor swishing 16 points
