Keel Cross Thanks Cumberland Women For Sending Cookies A thank-you letter has been sent to Cumberland county wom en who have sent, homemade cookies to Camp Pickett Hospital by the Farmville Gray Ladies. Written by Miss Rose Blaha, assistant Red Cross field director, the letter said. “The patients of tiie U. S. Army Hospital and we of the American Red Cross join to thank you for the delicious cookies. They are always in de mand. and the patients enjoy Lhem tremendously. Today we used them on a musical party on the neuro-psychiatric ward. All the men appreciated the refresh ments and your thoughtfulness in remembering them. Worsham The G. A’s. R.
