Castleton H. D. Club will meet on the 0th of March at the homo of Mrs. John Woodard.
Wood ville Home Demonstration Club wifi meet at <the home of Mrs. R. M. Johnson March 16 at 2 p.m. Util demonstration will be given by Miss Ruth Clarke and Kathryn Orange.
Reager, Washington Mo. 2, Sperryville No. 1 and Amiss villa 4-H clubs held their monthly meet tags on the 1st and 2nd of March. - Most of the girls in these clubs have completed their projects for the year. The ones that haven't are planning to have their projects completed by the first of next month. 4-H pins were awarded to the following Reager girls:
First year pins—May belle Williams, Helen Wines, Eleanor May Pullen, Mary Lou Campbell; Second year pins—Eulice Wines, Shelby Jean Willaims, Rosa Belle .Williams, Margaret Miller, Ruby Pullen, Louise Williams, Bessie Fox.
Besides the awarding of pirn, there was. a short program held on the subject of "How to invite people to social functions”. Then v the club divided up for project work. The girls taking the "House* •keeping” project were told how '"to'partition off drawers, so as to’ be able to keep a neater and more tidy dresser. The girls taking the "So You’d Like to Sew” project were taught the principals of cutting by a pattern. Each were given a chance to cut a portion of a blouse pattern. By the next meeting each girl is to cut out her own blouse and finish it.
The main feature of the Washington 4-H Club was the awarding of the 4-H pins. The following persona, received pins:
Four year pins—Betty Lou Rutherford, Betty Jane Williams,. Delores Thompson, Shirley Williams, Doris Martin.
This club also decided to help the Washington No. 2 Club , with the square dance coming up on the 16th of March. «
Sperryville Senior 4-H Club held hteir monthly meeting March 2. Elizabeth Verner, Johane Dellinger, Willie Lou Estes, Faye Black and Becky Jones received second year pins.
Last week the county 4-H -housekeeping project winners' were omitted. The following girls, -.were '
