.* Twin brothers of the bride, Roger Lee Rutherford and Donnie Rutherford, lit the candles at the ceremony. A quartet, Miss Holly Updike, Miss Louema Miller, Bobby Rutherford and Jackie Rutherford, rendered a selection. A friend of the bride, Mrs. C. R. Racer, cut the cake.
A reception followed the wedding, in the church hall of Reynolds Memorial, .which was decorated with chrysanthemums and autumn leaves. Immediately following the reception the couple left for a wedding trip to Niagara Falls. They plan to make tbeir home in Washington, D.C. -v
For her wedding trip, Mrs. Bruce wore a tweed box coat suit of white, light blue and navy, with navy accessories. She wore a. white orchid corsage.
The bride is a graduate of Rappahannock County High School. She has been employed with the Department of Health, Education' and Welfare in Washington Q.C. Mr. Bruce, who received his education in Sperryville and Luray, is presently employed by the Capital Transit Company in Washington, D.C. ■ '
Approximately 100 guests attended the wedding ceremony. Among the out-of-town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Elgin Groseclose and daughter, Mrs. Jimmy Leonard, Mr. and Mrs. Ramon Davila, Mr. and Mrs. Leo jussearme, Miss Eleanor Durm, Bob Kiser, Mr. and Mrs. William Allen, Mrs. Vivian Mavhero, Mr. and Mrs. Earl F. Starner.
