The teachers of Scrabble School Miss C. A. Williams and Mrs. B. B. Austin were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Jackson of Woodville on Wednesday, October 27. Also present were Mr, and Mrs. John Haney, Sr.,' Mrs. Nellie Clark, Mr. and Mrs. 1 John Haney, Jr., and Mrs. Er. nest Childs. Mr. John Haney, Sr., and Mr. John Haney, Jr., played several religious selections on the guitar and accordion, which was enjoyed very much.
MILDRED G. ROY
Funeral services were held Monday, evening for ‘Mildred G. Roy, of Washington. The Rev. R. C. Davis,, conducted the last rites at the First Baptist church and at the burial in the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Washington.
