trip. Mr. and Mrs. Leon Bailey and children are living in Parkersburg, Wfest Virginia, where Mr. Bailey has accepted a position. Mrs. Rosa Burton is improving each day. Among the many friends who have visited her during her illness are Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Taylor, of Winston, Mrs. Jack Hill and daughter, Iva, of Baltimore and Mr. and Mrs. Rapley Shackleford.
Mr. and Mrs. L. V. Merrill entertained for dinner Sunday, Mrs. C. M. Nethers and son Dale, Mr. and Mrs. William Davis and daughter, Vivian, Henry Davis of Oldtown, Maryland. The guests also visited Mrs. Bur,tbn at her apartment in town.
