Mr. and Mrs. Irving Sisk, Jr. called on Mr. and Mrs. Irviryg Sisk and daughter, Mildred, Saturday evening.

Miss Mildred Sisk,is spending this week wi|h her grandmother, Mrs. Mamie Whorton.

Mr. and Mrs. “Billy” Wharton and child were Sunday guests of Mrs. Mamie Wharton and Gibson Wharton. Mrs. William Groves was a we^k-end guest of her mother. Watch for the date of the Washington Ladies Auxiliary Round Dance. A good orchestra, delicious refreshments and a good time guaranteed.

Mrs. Rayner Snead has been confined to her home due to illness.

Mrs. Charlie Burke of Red Bank, N. J. was a Saturday thru Tuesday morning guest of Mr. and Mrs. Guy Burke.

Mr. and Mrs. Trenton Burke and children, Dick and Dave, were Sunday evening dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Guy Burke.

Mr. and Mrs. John Gunthrie of Washington, D. C. were Saturday guests of Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Eastham. ' ,

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Keyser, of Williamsburg, spent the ^reek end with Mrs. W. L. Keyser and Joe DeJ. Keyser in Tiger Valley.

Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Keyser called on Mrs. Keyser and Mr. Keyser Sunday afternoon.

Mrs. Stant Weaver has returned from Charlottesville Hospital after undergoing a major operation. She is improving satisfactorily.

Mr. Waytie Butler has been spending several day’s with Johnnie Weaver.

Miss Shelia Keating was an overnight guest Eriday of Evelyn Tyler Miller.

Mr. and Mrs. Nick Penaranda spent the week end with Mrs. Penafanda’s parents, Mr. -and Mrs. J. S, Weaver. Mrs. R. V. Snead and Mrs. C. J. Miller attended the opening of the National Capitol Flower Show in Washington, D. C. Saturday. Among other Rappahannock residents at the show were Mrs. Lock Burford and Mrs. Thomas Eastham. *

Mr. and Mrs. “Billy” Warwick and chidren, were week.end guests of J. W. Price, Jr. In the afternoon Saturday they attended the Point to Point Races, and Saturday evening, the , party at Mrs. W. P. Slaughter’s.
