Miss Caroline Brown of Sperry-«. ville, was a recent guest of Miss Mildred Sisk. Sunday afternoon Miss Betty Frazier visited Miss Sisk.
Week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. Carson Anderson and son, Eddie, were Mrs. Doris McCanless, Robert Sisk and Wood H. Sisk of Baltimore, Md. Saturday afternoon, Mrs. Anderson, her son and house guests attended the Point to Point Races at Thornton Hill.
Miss Judy Payne and brother, Donnie were overnight guests Saturday of the Andersons.
Mrs. Downing Wood antLMrs. Charles Wood Keyser motored to Silver Spring, Md, Friday to bring Miss Frances Wood home for a week-end visit. Miss Wood had as her guest for the week end Miss Linda Burnson, a student at the school. Mrs. Wood and the diildren returned tq school Monday morning.
The Rev. Joseph Graver who is pastor of the Mt. Salem Baptist Church and other churches in the area is'spending this week in Bluefield, Va. where he is the Chapel speaker for the week at Bluefield College. Mr. Graver’s son, Robert is a sophomore at Bluefield College.
