Rev. Edward Bush, rector of St. Luke’s Church in Alexandria and Mrs. Bush and children, Sara and Phillip spent several days last week with Mr. and Mrs. E. N. Montague who are vacationing at Hazel Notch, their summer home on Hazel River.

Mrs Flossie Hicks who spent last week with Mr. and Mrs. Chris Schaefer returned to her home in Lignum Saturday. On Thursday evening other guests of Mr. and Mrs. Schaefer were Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Manuel and family of Browntown.

Buddy Aylor who has recently undergone an operation at Arlington Hospital, is recuperating at the home of his parents Mr and Mrs. H. H. Aylor. Mrs. Aylor spent last week in Arlington to be with her son while he was hospitalized.

The Rev. and Mrs. A. D. Goodson and baby Tim left on Monday on a vacation trip to their parents in W. Virginia. They will return to Sperryville Saturday.

Recent guests in the home of Mr. and Mrs- H. H. Aylor were Mrs. Thomas Cozzo, Miss Joan Aylor, Mrs. Joe Henry Aylor and children. Sunday guests were Mr. and Mrs. M. J. Edwards of Lynchburg. Stevie Aylor who has been with her grandparents, returned with them and is now with Mr. and Mrs. Aylor who also had as their guests Sunday Mr. and Mrs. E. B. Cary of Washington.
