Mrs. H. B. Partlow and children of Culpeper, Mrs. Elma Davis Smith and son, Bruce of Gainsville were Sunday guests of Mrs. Helen Bruce and Mrs. E. W. Gore at Barlow.
Miss Hazel Kesner and Mrs. Margaret Hamilton of Newport News spent the week end with Mrs: Roy Swindler. Weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Maury W. Brown were were Mrs. Charles Newton and Mrs. Robert Payne of King George.
Major and Mrs. H. W. Gaguir and sons, of Falls Church were guests over the week end .of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Dwyer. Tommie remained for a longer visit with h1s grandparents.
Mr. and Mrs. Thurman Woodard of Warrenton spent Sunday with Miss Nellie Atkins and her sister Mrs. Ethel Tyner.
On Tuesday Mrs. D. M. Dwyer, her son David Marshall, Jr., Miss Mamie Johnson, Mrs. Betsey Harrell, Mrs. Tenie Gaunt and Mrs. Ethel Tyner attended the funeral in Marshall of .Earl Jenkins who met a tragic death by drowning in the Potomac River.
Miss Elizabeth Smith is spending some time in Washington, D. C. with her mother Mrs. Harry L. Smith who was a week end guest of her parents Mr. and Mrs. George W. Brown
Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Keyser are spending some time with Mr. and Mrs. D. M. Dwyer who also has as their guests this week Mrs. J. R. Shade and children of Charlottesville, while Mr. Shade is in Washington, D. C. on a business trip Miss Ruby Dwyer of Washington, was also a week end visitor in the Dwyer home.
