Mrs. Richard Boyd, who left Washington, D. C., June 21, by air to be with her husband, has reported a safe arrival. Airman 2-c Richard Boyd, who is stationed near Tokyo, Japan, has been there since last October.
Lona Rachel Fender, daughter of Rev. and Mrs. C. S. Fender, celebrated her second birthday with a family party at her home Monday. Jo Ann Dodson, of Culpeper, spent Monday night and Tuesday with Lona.
Mr. and Mrs. K. K. Kirby, of Zion, spent Sunday evening with the Fenders.

Mr. and Mrs. J. R. DeBergh attended the Culpeper Horse Show and were luncheon guests of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Ryan at the Club House. They were dinner guests the same day of Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Durant.
Quests in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Roscoe F. Dodson over the 4th of July holiday, were their daughter Peggy of Arlington, Va*, Mrs. Dodson’s sister and brotherin-law, Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Valliere and son, Kenneth of West Warwick, R. I., also Mrs. Mary Burke and son, Gene.
Newbill Miller who is taking' R. O. T. C. training at Fort George Meade, Md., was at home over the week end. On Saturday he will be transferred to Camp A. P. Hill in Caroline County for a two weeks training period.
