Her floor length gown was of white nylon net and lace over satin and she carried white chrysanthemums and stephanotis.' Her matron of honor was Mrs. A. C. Dodson of Staunton, Va. who wore apricot crystalette and carried white and yellow daisies.
Bridesmaids were Bessie Hawkins and Mabel Hawkins, gowned in blue and toast nylon net and carried yellow flowers.
Mrs Claude Cook played wedding selections before and after the ceremony and Mr;. W. A. Gentry sang “O Perfect Love" and ‘‘The Lord’s Prayer”.
Best man for Mr. Hawkins was Jonas Alther and jhe ushers were James Wavland and William Burke of Washington, Va. About 100 guests attended the ceremony and reception which followed at the Fire Hall. A large, wedding cake topped with a minature bride and groom and a lace wedding bell, \vzt cut by Mrs. Gentry. Mrs. Paul Miller and Mrs. Carson Lillard served punch, Paula Miller registered the guests. The newlyweds will be at home in their aparnren: in Arlington after a short vmlding trip. Mrs. Hawkins chose a grey suit with navy accesories for traveling, and wore a corsage of pink rosebuds.
