The Annual Wildlife Essay Contest, set up by the Commission of Game and Inland Fisheries and in which the Virginia Division of the Izaak Walton League of America participates, is well under wav again for this year, according to W. C. Kellner, acting chief of the Commission’s education division. ^ t- Prizes totaling $1400 will again be awarded winners, with a $400 college scholarship awaiting Ip senior grade boy or girl whose essay is judged best.‘Entry is open to all Virginia school children from grades five through twelve.
The contest, now celebrating its tenth anniversary, is enjoying everincreasine popularity and partici-; nation, Kellner said. The essay has as its theme this year, “Our Wildlife Resource—Its Value and Wise Use.”

4-H Electric Meeting
Wednesday Night
At the 4-H Electric meeting Wednesday night, Jean Lillard gave a talk on “My Trip to Electric Congress” which was held in Richmond, Va. Marvin Bradford gave a. demonstration on how to electrify a kerosene lamp. Others from Flint Hill who attended, were Judy K. Lillard and Louis Miller. :;V
