LETTER TO THE EDITOR

When I read of our natural resources . . . resources that belong to all the people . . . being handed out to big RepublicanCorporations by a Republican Administration ... and special privileges granted to those supporting the G.O.P. I am reminded of a story my Father told of an old man who once lived in the County’. He was a selfish old fellow, but something of a wit who always managed to get a little more than his share of good things going around.

He had a Toast . . . and a Prayer that were always good for a laugh, no matter how often told, although the philosophy they contained was far from laughable.

I call them now “The Republican’s Toast” and “The Republican’s Prayer”. ,

Here they are . i . Here’s to the Rich that they may

be (richer, , • Here's to the Poor that they may

be (poorer, D_|_! them, because they’re

used to it.
