Candlelight Service
Of Flint Hill 4-H
Using a simple cai\dle light service written especially for the occassion, new officers of the Flint Hill 4-H night Club were installed Tuesday evening Oct. 9th at the home of Paula Miller. Paula, outgoing president gave lighted candles to each new officer, and was in turn installed as 'treasurer for the coming year, by Eleanor Atkins former treasurer and secretary. New officers are: Eddie Sutphin, president, Jean Lillard. vicepresident, Eleanor Atkins, secrti tary, Marvin Bradford, reporter, Loretta Sutphin, song leader, Paula Miller, treasurer and Doris Atkins devotional leader.
Eddie took the chair to continue the business meeting, in which further plans for the proposed hike up Old Rag Mountain, was discussed. Girls who are taking the sewing project, make and remake, try, on strips of material to find the best colors for their individual complexions. They plan a study of color, line, choosing ready made clothing and clothing construction, to make their clothing money go
