Schools began last week in Montgomery, and someone thought enough of the safety of our school children to sponsor that spot announcement during the day. Maybe he was not so far from school-age himself and remembered that after three months vacation ^pur little folks may have become a little careless about Crossing the streets, or maybe the ball didn’t go out in the street at the city playgrounds like it does at he school grounds. Maybe we are a little if te for work or are just in a hurryHow about leaving home a little earlier, or a little later, so v we will not meet that little fellow at the street crossing, or , better still, why not go about our business as usual with just a little more care for the next two or three weeks until our school folks get back to normal and again in the habit of looking before crossing the street. Accident-free driving is happy driving. By the way, .are we sure the car will stop in a hurry if need be? Let’s-enlarge our slogan: .. Give The Children A Break With A Good Brake
