This includes a recent bequest left by Miss Margaret Mason with "the Second National Bank in Culpeper to be held in trust for the Sperryville church, the interest ’only to be used and .pavable to the treasurer of the church, making; it necessary' for the church to continue to have the rerviers of a treasurer. By agree, ment with Trinity' church in Washington, the Iarger?part of the interest on this bequest is for the time being to be uesd to cover the interest on a loan yyhich enabled them to construct the parish house at Washington, in which Emmanuel church has an interest. Miss Mason was for many years an actir,. member of this church.

The vestrv of Emmanuel hurch .will continue in. office and will administer a skeleton mamtainance budget, while consideration is being gi\en to combining the op. ..prating budgets o? the two churches into one for the parish.
