Roy Cleveland Dwyer, aged 50 ’ears, ’of Sperryville, died at h^s home near Thornton Gap abour noon Saturday, December 28th. ■ after several days illness following a long period of declining health.
He was the son of the late Thomas Jackson Dwyer and the late Mamie Cornell Dwyer of Rap* pahannock County. He is survived by a wife, the former Mary’ M. Bowen of Sperryville and 3 children, Jean of Washington, D. C., Ruth and Gerald at home. Six sisters, Mrs. Earl Frazier, R.F.D., Culpeper, Mrs. Ellis Frazier of Luray, Mrs. HomerjFrazier of Lurav, Mrs. Beulah Bailey of Elk- ; woed, Mrs. Harvey Clatterbuck of Brightwood and Mrs. Nina Bailey of Remington. Three bro-' thers, Thomas Dwyer of Browntown, Lewis Dwyer of Orleans, and Leonard Dwyer of Brightwood.
Funeral services were conducted Monday, December 30th, from the Thornton Gap Primitive Baptist Church at Sperry ville with Elder Clarend* Frazier of Warrenton officiating in the absence of the pastor, Eld J. H. Daily. The interm»nr was held in the family cemetery. Pallbearers were Earl Frasier. Harvey Clatterbuck. Roioert Dwyer, Edward Bailey, Maurice JVley, Alvin Clatterbuck. Ran-, dolnh Frazier and Benton Frazier.
