Quota .*
In recognition of Rappahannock County’s having exceeded its 1957 ' sales quota of United States Savings Ronds, W. H. Lyne, County Agricultural Agent, and County Chairman, for the Bond program, today received for patriotic service a U. S. Treasury Citation. This is the. second successive yemt of such meritorious commun. ity service by this county.
Rappahannock County citizens purchased $89,764 of Savings Bonds against a quota of $70,000. The 1957 award was presented to Chairman Lyne in Washington, Va.! by Thomas L. Chrism an, Treasury Representative of the U. S. Savings Bonds Division, who praujed the effective work of the chairman and his volunteer bond forces.
