Within weeks now contractors from all Virginia will present bids on the construction of the long awaited new county high school. _ " Eubaqk and Caldwell, architects and engineers of Roanoke,. Virginia, have drawn up preliminary plans according to the immediate needs of. the high school students of. Rappahannock. These plans are at present in Richmond awaiting final approval of the State Department jo? Education. *

When this approval is secured and any revisions—should they be^ necessary—are made, the plans will be submitted to the county school board. Shortly thereafter , the school board will advertize for construction bids on the building arid, within’30 days the b^ard, with the architects present, wul receive the contractors’ bids. The board’s decision,, advised by the architects, » will rest on both quality and f ' economy of construction estimates. .
